Coffee and Conversations: Exploring Culture Cycles for Clues to Inclusion

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - 8:00am
UNH Law School, 2 White Street, Warren B Rudman Center, Room 204, Concord

Coffee and Conversations is a discussion series jointly organized by the Carsey School of Public Policy, the State of NH Bureau of Education and Training, and the NH Association of Certified Public Managers to engage public service professionals in learning, problem solving and collaboration. We’ll provide the coffee, you provide the conversation!

Dr. Loretta Brady, Professor of Psychology at Saint Anselm College, will introduce the concept of "Culture Cycle" and explore how ideas, institutions, interactions, and individuals can impact organizational and systemic culture. We will consider implications for this awareness on our everyday opportunities to shape interactions and ideas within our own institutional role so that inclusion is intentional rather than accidental. This conversation will encourage participants to reflectively consider how inclusion has been shaped within their organization's culture cycle.
