Conversations on NH Outdoor Recreation
Tell us what you think are the outdoor recreation needs, challenges and opportunities in the state |
Thank you to all who participated in the outdoor recreation event held on October 5. A summary report will be posted soon....
We will provide an opportunity for citizens to gather to share their thoughts on the challenges, opportunities, issues, and needs relating to local and state outdoor recreation. NH Listens uses small group, facilitated discussions to gather citizen input. We hope that you will participate in this unique opportunity, and that you will bring along others who have a stake in this important issue.
Our listening sessions are open to all community members. Ideas, experiences and recommendations from a wide range of NH citizens will be gathered. Special emphasis will be placed on hearing citizen’s views about unmet needs and innovative approaches to meeting those needs. We would especially like to hear from those with limited use of outdoor recreation resources for reasons of access, age, income, or knowledge. This information will be used to develop priorities for the NH Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan currently under revision.

OUR PARTNERS
NH Listens is partnering with the NH Office of Energy and Planning (OEP) and the NH Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) to learn more about citizens’ views on opportunities for outdoor recreation at the local and state level. The citizen input from our sessions will be used by OEP and DRED to develop priorities for the NH Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) currently under revision.
